Looking for information on ancestors of Samuel Mackie (born Steveston, Scotland 20 April 1820)and Janet Howie (born Newmilns, Scotland 8 July 1824) - married in Stevenston 1843 - migrated to Australia 1849. Believe Samuel's parents were John Mackie and Agnes Howie and Janet's parents were Robert Howie and Grizzel Walker. All appear to be from Stevenston area.
Samuel & Janet moved from South Australia to Victorian goldfields - are buried at Trentham north of Melbourne
