Hi. I have a William Mackie born in 1829 on my family tree. I dont know too much about him just that he was the 3rd child of 5 born to George Mackie and Elizabeth Jamieson. All of my family that I have found so far have come from the Aberdeenshire and Banffshire area. If if sounds to you like they might be connected let me know.
