Hi John,
Hoping you can be of help here w/the MACKEY surname of Native ancestry.
Find a record for an ELIZA MACKEY, in Wilmington, NC who
was adopted by my gggrandparents, SAMUEL and HAGAR BROWN;
I am researching my tri-racial line of WEEDEN,WELDON,WEELDON/BROWN w/little success and hoping for helpful info.
The given name of TOBE/TOBY is unusual, but I have come across it several times w/links to my line.
Sincerely,
carol wheeldin warren.
