Carol,

I'd love to try to find out if our lines connect. I have actually found the parents of Sarah A. Mackey: James and Jane Mackey (Mackay), of Poughkeepsie, NY. James actually died before Sarah was born, due to a freak accident that occurred when his cousin hit him with the butt of a horse whip..fracturing his skull, and eventually leading to his death two days later. Very tragic.

Have you any names to go with your Scotts? I would be interested to see if we can piece together a common branch.
