Trying to get maiden name and parent information for Eliza Mackey, born in NC abt 1823, wife of Wm David Mackey of Lancaster , SC. David was brother of Abner and Thomas AJ Mackey/ McKey. David sold property in AL according to Doughtie book and moved to Choctaw Cty. MS. Appears several times in census and other references regarding Cherokee/ Choctaw Treaty discussions in MS. Suspect Eliza was of Cherokee blood, but cannot find verifying docs.
