I located my great great grandfather whose name was Peter but I could only find him in the 1880,1900 Census but nothing before and he was born around 1854. His wife was Charlotte Truesdale- one of their sons ( Alex- this is my great grandfather) was shot with a pistol coming home in the woods- by the railroad tracks.

I am hoping to take a trip to Lancaster,SC to visit the graves etc.
