I don't know if it is relevant, I am new to this. However, my granfather, Elmer Leon Mackey, was a mechanic, a trade he learned from his grandfather. I have no idea, beyond his father, Frank Mackey, what my lineage is. Elmer was, how best to say it, a colorful character at best. My dad and grandmother just will not talk about it. Elmer resided in Tulsa, OKlahoma until his death in the mid 90's...the exact date is not available to me at the moment. Wondering if it's related.
