Randal, I hope you have had some luck. Johann and Heinrich are ubiquitous within the Mackes. I am not assuming that the following Heinrich Macke is your ancestor but the book might be helpful. I do not have a copy but a good library, should have access to it. Especially in a Nebraska with its many ethnic-german families.
