John Henry (Macke)Mackey b. unknown d. 11 Aug 1874 m. Anna Maria Angelica Munte (Mary Minter) b. 4 Jan 1842 Cincinnita, OH d. 27 Feb 1929 Seymour, Jackson Co., Indiana on 5 Jan 1860 Bartholomew Co., Indiana. When John Henry died Mary married Hermann Heinrich Kuhlman on 16 Feb 1880 in Columbus, Indiana.
Children of John Henry and Mary (Munte) Mackey are William Fredrick (b. 8 Feb 1862 d. 27 Jun 1936) m Emma Jane Mellencamp (b. 2 Aug 1882 d. 13 Dec 1969) on 18 Sep 1902, Elizabeth "Lizzie" (b. 9 Mar 1864 d. unknown) m Johann (John) Adam Kuhlman on 10 Apr 1884, Sophia Catherine "Sophia" (b. 10 Apr 1867 d. 19 Mar 1957) m William Frederick Henry Taskey on 26 Mar 1885, Caroline Jane (b. 11 Nov 1869 d. 3 Mar 1939) m. John Herman Louis Mellencamp on 2 Oct 1888 when he died she married William Meedy Grear (maybe spelled now Greer on 13 Dec 1919, John Henry, Jr. b. 1871 d. 1885, and Sophia Augusta "Annie" (b. 9 Mar 1875 d. 7 Mar 1954) m Archibald Emhuff on 23 Apr 1896 when he died she married Balser Olinger on 5 Jun 1907.
I think that I also found the Intention Form for Naturalization filed at Bartholomew County for him, possibly his father and two brothers. These papers are now at the Indiana State Archives located in Indianapolis, Indiana. I will be going to Indianapolis to look at these papers and making copies of them.
