Also searching for a William McKay born cir. 1794 in Scotland. May be the son of William McKay (and Christine Creighton) born cir. 1766 in Perthshire, Scotland. May have lived in Montreal upon immigrating to Canada. A Thomas McKay born 1 Sept. 1792, may be the brother of William, 1874. This is a long shot but worth a try.
