I just read your message of about a year ago. I'm also looking for a MacKay.
It's about Margarite (in any spelling) Mackay, who was married to Jean (or John/Johannes) Lewis. They had (at least) 8 children. 5 in Zutphen between 1742 and 1751. Then they moved to Harderwijk in 1752 and had 3 more children in 1753, '54 and '58. Margarite died in 1761 and was buried on April 20th.
She would be born between 1710 and 1720.
BUT .... there is a Marie Elisabeth Lewis, baptized in 1734 in Ypres, Belgium and died 6 weeks later. She was a child of Margaret MacKay and John Lewis.
If this is about the same couple. Margaret should be born a bit earlier. And then it's hard to believe she had children as late as 1758.
At her burial record she isn't even mentioned by name, just by 'wife of ..'. also her age isn't mentioned.
Could you help finding her?
