Ive found a Ernest Robert Mackay born in Victoria in 1878 registration number 1135.This may be my great granfather.I had a grandfather who was a great mystery.His name was Vernon Donald Mckaye.Not much of his is know other than he married Violet May Collins in 1933.According to marriage certificate his father was a Ernest Robert Mckaye.My grandfather changed the spelling at some stage.So if anyone knows anything of Ernest please let me know.
