I have a ggggranfather Donald Mackay born about 1800 and this has been a brick wall for me also. My Donald was born in Farr. He married Helen Davidson when he was 30years of age on December 11, 1830 in Wick. I am descendent from one of their sons Alexander born May22 1839 in Wick.
