Michael F. Mack (1920-2011) of Grayslake, IL
Michael F. Mack of Grayslake Michael F. Mack passed away Wednesday Sept. 28, 2011, at the age of 91. He was born May 27, 1920, in Cicero, Ill., to William and Margaret Mack. Michael was a member of St. Gilbert Parish, the American Legion, and the Round Lake Senior Club. He was an employee of Kodak for over 40 years and served during World War II in the Army. Michael is survived by his wife of 37 years, Betty; his daughter-in-law, Shirley Mack; his son, Bob (Roberta) Mack; his stepchildren, James (Eda) Manarik, Gerald (Jane) Manarik, John (Margarita) Manarik and Joanne Manarik; his four grandchildren; his nine stepgrandchildren; his 12 great-grandchildren; and his one stepgreat-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Gertrude (nee Zabella); his son, Ronald; his parents; his three brothers; and his one sister. Friends of the family may visit on Friday, Sept. 30, from 4 until 8 p.m. at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, 410 E. Belvidere Road, Grayslake. A funeral Mass is scheduled for Saturday Oct. 1, at 11 a.m., with a visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass, at St. Gilbert Catholic Church, 301 E. Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030.
