Mack, Vivian B. (nee Jaeger), age 88, of Palos Heights, IL, formerly of Harvey and Orland Park, IL, died Friday, December 4, 2009 at the Courtyard of Loyalton, Joliet. She was born October 16, 1921 in Dolton, IL. Loving wife of Stanley J. Mack, whom she married June 17, 1942, beloved mother of Cheryl Vanderplow of Plainfield, IL, adored grandmother of Loren (Peg) Vanderplow of Romeoville, IL, Cheri (Jim) Van Eck of Joliet, and Jonathan Vanderplow of Chicago, cherished great-grandmother of Michael, Vivian, Vincent, Daniel, and Vaughn, devoted daughter of the late Emil and Mary Jaeger, and also survived her three dear brothers, Theodore, Lawrence, and Emil, and her four dear sisters, Helen Luehrs, Clara Ebert, Marge Graves, and Erna Hoffman. Vivian grew up in the Dolton/Harvey area, was a graduate of Thornton High School, Class of 1939. She was a loyal employee of Cavallini's Restaurant in Midlothian, IL for 31 years. Her passion in her later years was golf and all her wonderful great-grandbabies. Visitation Tuesday, December 8, 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Overman-Jones Funeral Home, 15219 S. Joliet Rd., Plainfield. Additional Visitation Wednesday, December 9, 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. at Overman-Jones. Funeral Services will follow at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment: Woodlawn Cemetery, Joliet.
