Mack to Mock - Ship info
Hi List, I just posted on the Mock genforum (1/5/03 ) a ship record for the Alexander Macks who came on the ship the Allen 1729 to PA and a tax list 1734 Germantown, PA with Alexander Mack and others. All this can be found in the I. Daniel Rupp bk " Thirty Thousand Names - Imm. to PA 1st printing 1854 and last 1994. I took a guess that the surname Mack might be pronounced as Mock and then found the Mocks' are doing a DNA test for Mock and Mack.
The Macks and Copes are on the 1734 PA tax listings by Rupp and the Mocks and Copes' are found in Rowan CO NC 1770s same time. They are on the right tract with this DNA. I also believe the Copes' 1734 PA may be reklated to the KOLBS found there same time by them and are on ships records in the Rupp bk.
