Looking for information on James D. "Jim" McIntosh probably born 20 Jan 1854 in what Cheer, IA; married Mary Ellen "Mollie" Hawk [b. 1862 in Coal Creek, Keokuk Co, IA] 11 Jan 1877 in Keokuk Co, IA, daughter of Morgan Hawk & Sarah Scott.
Grandchildren of Jim have said that he & Mary lived in Cornwall County, Ontario before coming to Iowa; he went to Oklahoma where he met Mollie who was half Cherokee Indian; he worked on the railroad & was an artist; 1888 left the family & went west; died Spokane, WA ~1930. I have not been successful in documenting any of this.
His son, Albert Beryl b. 28 Feb 1876, was my great grandfather.
