I have found one reference to a family name "Macomber" as being a sept of the MacKintosh Clan and I am still looking to try to verify this with other references.
I would really appreciate it very much if anyone could point me to other references with regard to this. Perhaps there are others out there with the family name Macomber that could also offer more information. I see references to MacCombie and MacCombe a number of times, but only one reference so far to "MacOmber".
Any help would be wonderful.
