Nedra: According to my family's research: Martin Luther McGillivray was born in Barbour, Alabama, May, 1850. He was married to Margaret Ann Bostick, born 1850 in South Carolina. (They were my great-great-grandparents). Martin Luther McGillivray's parents - according to our research - were: Martin McGillivray (born 1802 in Scotland, died in 1855 in Barbour, AL) and Sarah Giles, born about 1819 in North Carolina and died about 1880 in Barbour, AL). And, that's about as far back as we got on the McGillivray side. I'd love to know what you have found.
