I am searching for information about Duncan MacGillivray who was a ferryman and lived on VanWagners Beach Saltfleet Twp Wentworth Co Ontario Canada from his marriage to Martha Williams [d/o George] abt 1867 until he died in 1895. Duncan's death certificate says he was born in Glasgow Scotland 1837 [one Census rec. birth as 1841].They had the following children born in Saltfleet Twp:
David 1867-1902 [poss. a Hamilton policeman]
James 1868 [of Virginia U.S.]
John 1872
Catherine 1873 [m Arthur TRUMAN]
Jessie 1875 [m Abram HAND]
Mary 1877 [M Archie? RICHARDS]
Martha 1878 [Andrew MERCER]
George 1880. [of Cadiz Ohio U.S.]
Eliza 1885 [m Travis ROSSITER & Wm Rufus OLMSTEAD]
Thomas 1886-1976 [m Wilhelmine McAGY]
Clara Maude 1889-1965 [m Arthur WILLIAMS]
