AROUND 1880 A VIKING SHIP was found on colonsay a KING.along with a sword a slave woman horse and steel pot. they also found coins dated 835-850 these itums are now at the NATIONAL MUSEUM IN EDINBURGH King Kenneth Macalpine first king of the scotts and the picks! was in power 843-to-860 the MACFIE'S were always said to be decent of. there motto on there crest is PRO-REGE for the king! that king it would be of great intrest to have DNA from both the slave woman and the King, matched with the DNA of the MACPHEE'S / MACFIE'S OF COLONSAY IF POSSIBLE WITH THE LAST CHIEF OF THE CLAN THANKS for reading and PRO-REGE JOHN THOMAS MCPHEE [TEXAS]
