Can anyone tell me this subject's death date?
He would have been the senior representative of the McFarlans (MacFarlanes) of Kirkton/Ballancleroch in Stirlingshire, Scotland if he survived his first cousin, Brig-Gen. Frederick Alexander McFarlan (MacFarlane) of Ballancleroch, who died on 7 October 1954.
The Lt-Col. married Frances Lorne Kennedy and had a daughter, Agnes (b. 1902) who married Lionel Gurney, and a son, John (b. 1907) who married Dorothy Linehan.
