Matsak (Macek, Macak) family

I'm Nick Mozak (Motsak) , I live in Belgorod, Russia. For a long time I had been looking for my relatives from my grandfather's line. He and his 5 brothers lived in khutor (a small village) Kagamlyk near the city of Poltava, Ukraine. In 1920-s my grandfather's brothers moved to the USA and Canada.

The original name of my grandfather was Matsak Nickolay Petrovich, but in 1950-s my father changed our surname to Motsak on political reasons (you probably know what the time was there when).

Your sername looks rather similar to ours, and also the surname might be changed abroad to Mazak, Matsuk, Mazuk, Mozak, Mozuk ar something else. Maybe you are descended from this family (from one of 5 brothers of my grandfather) and we have the common family roots. I would be very happy to know this.

It would be great to correspond with the relatives and know that somewhere in the world the people like me live. But it's only the hope, but it's the BIG hope....

Thank you very much for reading this message.

If you are interested, please, e-mail me.

Best wishes from Russia.

Nick Mozak
