Was taking a look at the map I referred to in my previous posting, when I noticed another town - Selo Monastir!
It is ENE of Monastir/Bitola, on the other side of the ?Cerna? River almost at the right edge of the 39-41 map, near the 10' mark next to the line of scale near the town of Melinica.
Perhaps your family Toma is from there, instead of Bitola?
