My family name is Zezoff. Gr Grandfather Nick Zezoff born in 1869 in Macedonia, married someone named Roussey, possibly first name Mary. His son Louis E born 11 Mar 1909 also in Macedonia. Nick went to America, and the mother died. Son Louis was taken in by church elders.He said he can remember leaving his village in the middle of the night when the soldiers came, and then he was sent to America. I have an uncle with the middle name of Vandell, possibly a family name. The only info I have is an N Ivan Zekoff, born abt 1870 from Bulgaria, came to America in may 1910 from Bremen, Germany. I am looking for direction to locate records from old Macedonia, can anyone help?
