1850 Census to show the relationship between Christ and Mace. Not only are they living with them, but they are living close neighbors also. The names that are listed here are names I found in deeds also. Somehow there is a relationship between them. As of now I have not found a Christ-Mace marriage but my brickwall Christ, William and his son William Christ both married Miller girls. I have found Miller-Mace marriages and maybe that is the connection with the Maces'
to the Christs'.
1801-2? July 25 born William Christ. The 1802 by birth record
1801 by tombstone
His parents: (William Christ married Elizabeth Miller) were married at
Stouchsburg , 12/3/1801.
I don't have a marriage date for the son William Christ that married Anna Miller. I don't have a birth date for Anna Miller either. Her tombstone is missing but she is listed in the Brendle book as having
died in 1886.
I know that you are working on Jacob Mace but I have over 20 Jacob Mace
listed.
I spent several hours today trying to dig up new information on the Mace line. I couldn't find anything that would answer questions for me but I did find a Mies-Christ marriage. Philip Mies about b abt 1775 m Eva Elizabeth Christ 10/12/1776.
I think I forgot to give you Marie's e-mail address when I wrote to you last time. It is [email protected] She has been working on the Miese, Mease line from Lancaster county.
