Agnes Mace of Jackson County, Iowa
Posted by: Linda Crinklaw (ID *****0010) Date: September 21, 2011 at 07:07:03

I am looking for information about Agnes Mace who married widower & school teacher, William Crinklaw (1805-1887) on Oct. 16, 1871 in Sabula, Jackson County, Iowa, USA by a Justice of the Peace. It is thought that Agnes Mace was born about 1802 and that she died about 1873 soon after her marriage to William Crinklaw. Perhaps she was a widow living in the Sabula, Jackson Co., Iowa area. Her maiden name may or may not have been Mace. She may have been buried with her first husband and have had children. Or she may have been younger and single. Nancy and Annie were nicknames for the formal name, Agnes. Does anyone on their family tree have such an Agnes Mace living in the Jackson Co., Iowa area about 1870 among Iowa state Mace families? Any information will be appreciated.
