Not sure anyone is still on here but thought I would try. i have no idea about the Mace family. My grandfather was Ace Frank Mace. His father was either Alonzo Joe Mace or Joe Alonzo Mace. My ggrandfather supposedly moved to South Carolina because of a fight and possible murder, between him and another man.We can not find very mucj info on him.We know that he didn't live with his mother and father, do not know why, maybe they died when he was very young, he was raised by an Uncle and Aunt in Morganton,North Carolina. I guess he was born around the year 1860-1885. Has anyone heard his name in their research. Thanks reginaruff@bellsouth.net
