I now have information that Caroline Garner married Henry Mace on Nov. 18, 1839. Caroline Garner parents were Lewis Garner and Margaret Haga. Lewis Garner (b. abt 1782) and Margaret Haga (b. abt 1782) were married on June 24, 1812. Margaret Haga parents were George Haga (b. 1760, d. 1842) and Margaret Fridley (b. 1770). George Haga was an heir to his uncle's estate (Godfrey Haga). Godfrey Haga was from Wirtemberg, Germany who came to USA and became a wealthy person in Philadelphia, PA.
I have supporting docs from the courthouse to support the above marriages and parents. I have more information on the Mace family if you desire. Your Silas Preston Mace and my John Henry Mace were brothers.
