Hi Alice - Perhaps you can clear something up for me before I proceed.

What do your records show about the following two (2:

(1) Jon Mace, b. 1615, England Immigrated to America 1635, arrived Charles City, VA 1637. {I wonder what took him two years! Did the ship stop in the Barbados, or Haiti, or somewhere else first?} From your info, I now know he married Ann Petty, no year.
Children: Francis Mace, b. c. 1660, married 1685 to
Elizabeth (no last name)
Ann Mace, no birth date. Married Samuel
Harris 1800 in Randolph Co., NC.

Francis and Elizabeth Mace had 7 children, all born in Nansemond, VA. Benjamin
Mercy, who married a Morrison
Jonas, b. c. 1696
Thomas, b. 1698
Francis, b. 1701 (married Ann Newby)
William, b. c. 1703. Married Elizabeth
Ann Humphries.

(2) John Mace, b. c. 1665, Nansemond VA (parents unknown)
married Mary Ann Tomes, b. 27 April 1670, Perquimans,
NC. They had two (2) children:
Ralph Mace b. c. 1705
Francis Mace, b. 1701 (married Ann Newby)

As you can see, this is conflicting info. Can you clear it up? Will appreciate any help.

By the way, once I get past Francis and Elizabeth (who I believe are my ancestors) I have lots of info, including photos and documents which I would be happy to share.
