GMACE Note [email protected]: Per my book there is photo of WILLIAM HENRY MACE s/o David MACE & Lucinda MCCALL and MARGARET CARSWELL MACE [Story 443 of David MACE b. 1815 page 288, 289]
Margaret CARSWELL MACE was a mid-wife of the community. Five days before death, she went up on Henry River to deliver a baby. She walked home after delivery in the heat. It is thought that she drank water on the way home which caused typhoid or dysentery causing death.
