Looking for information on my gggrandfather, Francis MacDougall who the family cames over from Scotland and settled in Nova Scotia. His grand-daughter says he was a gold miner and moved around the province a lot. He married a Mary MacDonald and had 3 children: Katherine, Mary and Alexander Francis.
Alexander Francis MacDougall, born about 1886 in Colchester Co., N.S., married Margaret Mary Elizabeth Lawlor of Erinville, N.S.
Any information on this chain of MacDougalls would be greatly appreciated.
