My materal grandparents were Mc/MacDougalls. My grt, grt grandfather was Peter, b 1776, Glasgow. He was raised Roman Catholic, married a Christian McLennan in Charlottenburg, Glengarry Cty 1810. I have no idea when he came to or to where in Canada, or whether he came with family. He settled on the "Indian Lands" of Charlottenburg about 1809 and died there in 1854. He may be the son of Hugh McDougall and Flora Campbell of Glasgow. Do any of these names relate to your information?

Thank you.
Ken MacLennan
