Searching for the parents of John McDougall b abt 1773 in Scotland. Died 1863. He married Elsie Sigsbee in 1807.
My gg grandfather was his son James McDougall who was married twice, first to Caroline Holmes and second to Julia Schermerhorn.
His son was Adam McDougall b 1865 wed to Phoebe Brewer.
My grandmother was Jessie Minor McDougall who wed Harry D. Burdick in 1910.
I believe that John started out in New Salem, Albany Co,m, NY but the rest of the family lived in the Delaware Co. area.
