My great grandparents were 1st found in 1870 Coeymans,NY census. They were under the name of McDugen. According to the census Peter was 21 and Victoria was 15. They were both from Canada, had a 1 year old son named John born in NY, and neither could read nor write english. I have traced them to Adams, MA. I am interested in finding where they came from in Canada. The only other information I have is that Victoria's parents were Joseph and Julia Roubarge or Robarge and her mother's maiden name, I think was Arkiss. Any leads would be appreciated.
