James (William) McDougall married Rachel Fraser in Antigonish in 1842. He was a widower. He said being from Merigomish. We're looking for his first wife. Through LDS we found two records, one a William married Elizabeth McDonald in 1819 in Pictou and one a William married a Mary McDonald in 1827 in Pictou. The dates would be right for a first marriage and that might mean more children. Would appreciate your help on this one. James (William) McDougall was born in Scotland, but Rachel was born in Antinogish.
