Dear Katie,
I see that your MacDonalds are not from the N.B. area but do you find any names in the books that you recognize from the ones that I mentioned -Isabella MacDonald ,daughter of Alexander and Annie MacDonald from Point aux Carr on the Miramichi. I also have MacLeans in my line and they sometimes spell their names McLean. Catherine Cameron MacLean, daughter of John MacLean. If any of these names are in the books that you have, I would appreciate hearing from you.
