There is a Ward McDonald, born in Bowling Green, Kentucky in 1840 (his father was Ward McDonald and he had a brother Samuel). He served in the civil war and married in Alabama, was in Texas for a time and Arkansas around 1880 but I can't find him in the census records there. I am interested in sharing information with anyone whose family uses the name Ward and in particular those from Kentucky and the southern US.
