I am looking for info on my G Grandfather John W. MacDonald b. ? m. Elizabeth Campbell b. ? children: Isabelle C. b. 1858; John W. b. 1863, Josephine b. 1865; Charlotte b. 1869; Minnie b. ? Alex b. ? All born in NS except Adeline b. 1881 in MN. Family immigrated to Pine City, MN in 1872 (abt.) Then settled in Minneapolis. Alex was supposedly shot in MN accidentally. Minnie supposedly died at age 17. John W. Sr. is supposedly second cousin to Lord MacDonald of PEI. Any info or directions to research sites greatly appreciated.
