I'm looking for information on Dougald MacDonald, born 1804 in Scotland and died 1892 in Cape Breton. His wife Mary (last name unknown) was born in Lewis in 1814 and their son Malcolm was born in 1860 Cape Breton. Malcolm married Agnes MacLeod who was the niece of Giant Angus MacAskill who was born in Lewis, Scotland. Dougald settled in the area of Cape Breton knows as Meadow, North River near St. Ann's.
I think the MacDonald's might have emmigrated about the same time as the MacAskills.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
