My late father-in-law was adopted by a JOHN DANIEL CAMPBELL & JENNIE ELIZABETH MARSLAND of NY in 1920.
On their marriage certificate JOHN DANIEL CAMPBELL 's parents are listed as a JOHN CAMPBELL and JANE MACDONALD.
JOHN DANIEL CAMPBELL was b.c 1881 in Charlestown MA (according to his 1919 Brooklyn NY marriage record )
On his 1920 & 1930 Brooklyn and Queens NY Census he lists his parents as being born in Nova Scotia / Canada.
Does anyone recognise this family ?
