I am searching for any relatives of Daniel McDonald son of Hugh McDonald's( second marriage ) and Jane Steele. His father and mother come from Indian River, PEI, Canada. Daniel was married to Jane McKinnon daughter of Neil dubh black McKinnon and his first wife Catherine McIsaac (married by Fr. Malachy Reynolds on Feb. 9th, 1841 - Fr. Reynolds was parish priest for Charlottetown, PEI and as a missionary priest for Lot 65,PEI. These families are all living up at the Brae, PEI. with their children being baptized at the Brae, Lot 9, Roman Catholic church. Black Neil was married at least one more time and possibly a third time. Daniel McDonald and Jane McKinnon were given a dispensation of 3rd to 4th degred of consaguinity to marry. Daniel died Dec. 28, 1893-age 58. Daniel and his wife Jane were married Oct. 8th, 1866. Daniel's father and mother, Hugh McDonald and Jane Steele were married at Indian River, PEI, on July 30th, 1837 - this being Hugh's second marriage.
