My Ggrandfather, Alexander Mc/Macdonald, born in Perthshire in 1855?, was in the British Army and came to Calgary, AB, Canada, with his family in 1913. His children were William (1884-1918), Alexander (1886-?), John (1892-1963), and Jessie-my paternal grandmother (1898-1955). John married Freda mae Wareham in 1920, and their children were Jack and Thelma (m. ? Robinson). They also raised my father, Robert (Bob) Rankin after his parents died in 1955. Jack moved to California in the 1950's? and Thelma married and moved to Conneticut?
