Susan K. MacDonald, age 59, of Orland Park, best friend, soul mate and wife of Dennis; loving and devoted mother of Sarah (Mark) Philipps; loving sister of Katherine Dallman (Rick Wuerl); fond aunt of Matthew (Hannah) Dallman and Christopher Dallman (Josh Pohja); and other relatives. Susan graduated from Valparaiso and Governors State University. Susan was also a primary school teacher in Matteson, IL. She worked with Little Company of Mary Hospice and was an advocate of civil and women's rights. Friends and family will be received on Wednesday from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m., with a Memorial Service at 8 p.m., at the Thornridge Funeral Home (Janusz Family Funeral Service), 14318 S. LaGrange Rd., Orland Park. Interment private. 708-460-2300. 12/26/2005.
