Hello, my name is Jonathon S. Holmes, I was born on February 14, 1982 in Quincy, California and raised in Yosemite National Park for about 15-years then moved to Anchorage, Alaska in 1997.
My Mothers name is Colleen E. Foster(Holmes), she was born in Oakland, California in September of 1962, her Fathers name was Howard Holmes. My Mother has mentioned a few names of relitives to me in the past few years now. She had an Uncle by the name of George "Big George" and possibly a Henry (sorry don't remember) she also had a relitive who use to work in a Coal Mine (somewhere unknown at the moment).
To make a Long story short, if anyone has ferther Information on this Family of Holmes please Help me, I am 23-years-old and highly interested in my family history.
If this may help, My Grandfather Howard Holmes and my Mothers Uncle George is buried in the Cemetary at Fort Jones in Califoria.
