Grant was a respected scholar of Scottish Highland history, and the booklet you inquire about is a very brief and accurate summary of the early high points of Clan Donald history. It is of little help in researching the kind of detail you apparently are doing. The 3-volume set (Clan Donald, publish 1896, 1900, and 1904, by the Revs. A & A.
