Am searching for info about Archibald McDonell b/5/22/1818 in Glengarry Scotland. He settled in Glengarry County, Ontario at about age 12. He came to NY state, married Louisa Villeneuve (St. Denis)(from Montreal) in Hogansburg, NY in 1852. We think his mother's name was Mary White. Am interested in learning more about all families stated.
Archibald fought in the Wind Mill battle(Can) and also in the Civil War (US) He died Aug. 1852 in New York State.
