Hello!
I just stumbled upon this site and it seemed to be very vast yet useful. I've never done any research in-to my "roots", but may start now!
My Grandfathers name was Daniel Robert MacDonald, he met and married my Grandmother Florence Flag in Nova Scotia, Canada. He died in about 1934 in Port Huron, Michigan.
My fathers name was James Edward MacDonald, He married (Irma)Kathryn Steinmann from Sarnia Ontario in 1947. He was born August 31, 1921 in Nova Scotia. He died in June of 1984.
My Brothers names are Daniel James, b1955, Douglas Stuart, b1959, and myself b1957.
My Grandfather also had a son thru a previous marrage, his name was David John MacDonald. He died in about 1973?. His son is also David John and died in 1989?. His son is also David John who was born in about 1960?.
If you have any information that might spark a deeper desire to research my geneology, I would appreciate it.
