Alan & Mary had 5 sons & 3 daughters;
John, Donald, Duncan, Archibald, Alexander, Anne, Catherine & Mary. Most of the children settled in Glencoe,Glenville,Mabou, Inverness County. We are decendants of John.He first married Jesse MacDonald in He died sometime before 1851. Other names of interest "Big Jack" who married Elizabeth MacMillan, then little Mary Anne McIntyre some time in the late 1800s.Johns father, Alexander died in Port Hood. His wife Margaret died in Port Hood in 1940, age abt 97 which would put her birth abt 1843. I believe her fathers name was Angus MacDonald whose name was also Margaret. location for Angus would be West Lake Ainslee.
Any information on any or all of these people in Canada/Nova Scotia is needed.HELP!
