My paternal grandparents were Hugh Macdonald of Inverness and Isobel Nicol Donaldson of Aberdeen. They lived in Aberdeen and had nine children, of whom seven survived. My father, Vincent Martin Macdonald, was one of their middle sons. He married my mother, Jeannie Davidson Findlay, in Aberdeen in 1919 and they emigrated to Winnipeg, where my siblings and I were born. Are there any relatives out there who would like to contact me? I have done some research,just back to the mid-19th century,and hope to find more information.
